In Fall 1982 " So much I have love "(« Tellement j’ai d’amour ») is released and so begins the rise towards the showbusiness: by representing France, with the song« Tellement j’ai d’amour », Céline wins the third Yamaha International Festival in Tokyo. In January 1983, she represents Canada in the Super Official reception of RTL in the Cannes Festival , to which assists the French type-setter Jean Jacques Goldman ,and she wins ‘D’amour ou d’amitié’. Successively she takes part in a
French musical program very popular at this time « Champs Elisées »,presented by Michel Druker who will become her friend and upholder ; during the last years, Céline took part in many programs such as “Tapis Rouge” diffused by France2 and to which she accorded her last interview, before the birth of her son Rene Charles.
In France, an album ,compilation of her first three Canadian albums « Du soleil au Cœur » , was released and brought her the golden disc (the first time for a Canadian artist in France) for the 700.000 sold copies. Other albums follow and several victories (see the rewards page on the site). After traversing much of the path , Rene and Céline took a ambitious bet : to conquer the French-speaking market and to take over the Anglophone Canada and the USA.

The rewards accumulate and a new album is released : "Mélanie".
The 11th of september, she even meets the Pape Jean-Paul II. She sings at the Olympic stadieum of Montréal at "Une colombe" facing 65 000 personnes.
One the 17th of september, Céline releases a new album "Les plus grands succès de Céline Dion", a compilation of Celine's best songs.
At the ADISQ's Gala, she receives 2 other Félix, one for the album "Les chemins de ma maison" and the second for being the female interpreter of the year.
From the 6th of november till the 9th of december, Céline sings fo the first time in France at Paris. she sings for 5 consecutive weeks at the Olympia with Patrick Sébastien.

>>1985

Céline makes the first tour of her carrier in the Québec.
She records a new album "C'est pour toi"composed by Eddy Marnay.
At the ADISQ's Gala, she receives 5 Félix. THe first for "Mélanie" voted song of the year,the second for the album "Mélanie" most saled album of the year, The third for being the female interpreter odf the year, The forth for the popular song of the year, "Une colombe", and the last felix is for most sold 45 disc "Une colombe".
it is the first time Celine sings that much Félix since the begining of her carrier.
René Angélil et Céline creates a new compagny: Feeling INC.
Between 1982 and 1985, Céline records 9 albums, 7 in Québec and 2 in France.

We arrive at the period of transition of Celine's carier.Celine begins to succed in the french market; To acceed to the International market, Celine must learn the english langage. René Angélil will send her to the Berlitz school ùwere she'll receive intensive english courses.

In 18 month she decides to learn this langage. In another hand , Celine must change her image, adopt a new look that is quiet different of the Chalemagne girl. In a word celine must become a Wemon ein the mind of the people.
She changes her hair and her tooth. A new celine is born!
In this year she releases a new album :"Céline Dion en concert".
René Angélil et Céline sign a deal with the CBS compagnywish will become Sony Music

it was time for Celine to change her music style and look towards the Pop Music. That's why she must chnage her song writer, Eddy Marnay is replaced by Luc Plamondon with whom she releases a new pop album "Incognito", released in France the 2nd of april. We find inthis album a rocker Céline.
